Acronyms are the usual casualty of title case: NASA comes back as Nasa and PDF as Pdf. Leave the smart toggle on, then fix the two or three that matter by hand.
If a headline arrives in caps, convert it to sentence case before title case. It reads closer to normal prose, and you will spot the words that were shouted by accident.

Paste a sentence, pick a style and the result replaces itself in place. The seven options cover both worlds: the four prose cases that humans read, and the three code cases that compilers, databases and CSS files expect.
Title Case capitalizes the words that matter and can leave short joining words in lowercase. Sentence case lowercases everything and then rebuilds capital letters at the start of each sentence. The code cases split the text into words first, which is why a phrase like user signup date becomes userSignupDate, user_signup_date or user-signup-date.
Use it to rescue a headline that arrived IN ALL CAPS, to turn a column header into a variable name, or to make CSS classes agree with each other. Accented letters keep their accents in the prose cases and lose them in camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case, where a stray é tends to break things.
Everything happens in the browser with no round trip, so a pasted draft, a client name or a half-finished variable stays on your side of the screen. The smart title switch only affects Title Case, and sentence mode starts a new capital after a period, an exclamation mark, a question mark or a line break.

What is the difference between title case and sentence case?
Title case capitalizes most words in a heading, usually leaving short joining words lowercase. Sentence case capitalizes only the first word and the start of each new sentence, which is how ordinary prose works.
Does it handle multiple sentences?
Yes. Sentence case adds a capital after each period, exclamation mark, question mark and line break, so a pasted paragraph keeps its shape. Title case works one line at a time, capitalizing the words that matter in each.
