most-used utilities

Placeholder rows

Fill a mock table with 40 rows of TBD and stop typing it by hand.

CSV values

Repeat an email address 25 times with commas, ready for a bulk import.

Layout stress test

Duplicate a long word 200 times to see where a card finally breaks.

pro tips

Use the new line separator to build columns and lists. Use comma plus space for anything destined for a CSV file or a SQL IN clause.

The custom field understands a typed backslash-n and backslash-t, so you can join copies with a tab, a bullet character or a row of dashes.

Repeats multiply fast: a 500-character paragraph copied 1,000 times is half a million characters. The widget trims the output and tells you when it does.

what it does

Type or paste your text, pick how many copies you want and choose what goes between them. The result appears immediately, ready to copy. Three repetitions of a short label should not require three trips to the clipboard.

It earns its keep when you need placeholder rows, a wall of test data, a padded list for a layout mockup, or a column of identical values for a spreadsheet. Also for that one friend who communicates exclusively in repeated animal noises.

For example, repeating hello 5 times with the comma plus space separator gives hello, hello, hello, hello, hello — 33 characters, including the separators. Switch to the new line option and the same five copies take 29 characters and five rows.

Everything stays in the browser. The count is clamped between 1 and 1,000, and output stops at 200,000 characters so a long paragraph times a thousand does not freeze the tab. Custom separators accept a typed backslash-n or backslash-t for a real newline or tab.

quick answers

How many times can I repeat text?

Up to 1,000 copies. The output also stops at 200,000 characters, so extremely long input may produce fewer repeats than you asked for. The counter under the result tells you the real number.

Can I use my own separator?

Yes. Pick custom and type anything, including spaces and punctuation. The field treats a typed backslash-n as a line break and a typed backslash-t as a tab, which saves you from pasting invisible characters.

Does it add a separator after the last copy?

No. Separators go between copies only, so the result never ends with a dangling comma or a mystery newline.
