most-used utilities

A sideways scan

Rotate all pages 90 degrees clockwise and download.

A mixed document

Use selected pages to fix only the landscape inserts.

An upside-down page

Apply 180 degrees to the page that was scanned the wrong way.

pro tips

Rotate the whole document unless only one or two pages are wrong.

If the page looks upside down, use 180 rather than two separate passes.

Check the result in a viewer; some scanners already wrote a rotation that conflicts with the visual orientation.

what it does

Choose a PDF, pick a quarter turn and decide whether to rotate every page or only a range. The rotation is written into the PDF, so it stays correct in every viewer.

It is the fix for a scanned page that came out sideways, a landscape table trapped in a portrait document, or a phone scan where the camera decided to disagree with the paper.

A 90 degree turn is clockwise. Two of them make 180. The page content is not re-rendered; the page's rotation attribute changes, so text remains text and the file does not gain a generation of compression.

The edit runs locally with pdf-lib. Select the file, choose the angle and download the corrected PDF. Nothing is uploaded.

quick answers

Does rotating change the page content?

No. The page's rotation is updated; the text and images are untouched.

Can I rotate only one page?

Yes. Choose selected pages and list the page number or range.

Is the file uploaded?

No. The rotation is applied in your browser with pdf-lib.
